Sarah and Ben’s story began in the summer of 2022. At the time, Sarah was living on Mud Island, while Ben, preparing for his final year of law school, was living downtown. They met at a post-wedding party, and from their very first conversation, they were completely captivated by each other. Their connection grew quickly, and they started dating soon after.

Over the years, they’ve shared countless memorable moments, from golfing and snow skiing to cozy nights cooking together or fun evenings out with friends. Both passionate travelers, they’ve explored new places together, all while continuing to bring out the best in one another. Even though Sarah is a UT Vol for life and Ben is an Ole Miss alumnus with a deep love for the Rebels, they share a passion for SEC football and cheer for each other's teams—just as long as they’re not playing against each other.

On June 15, 2024, after nearly two years of shared adventures, Ben asked Sarah to marry him at sunset on the banks of the Mississippi River. It was a perfect reflection of their journey: spontaneous, full of heart, and set against the backdrop of a place that holds so much meaning for them both.
